A Tudor Christmas Feast at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

An abundant spread of dishes depicting the Tudors where an opulent feast of meat and sweet afters will be served at The Resort Cafe to herald in the spirit of the season. This Christmas and New Year, the culinary team, led by the Hotel’s Executive Chef Peter Lee are all geared up to entice their guests with their extensive menu of delicious and sumptuous dishes to indulge in.

Before proceeding to what they’ll be serving for buffet lunch and dinner, let me tempt you with the tasting menu prepared by the wonderful chefs!😏

Winter Salad

A refreshing salad of Baby Spinach with Berries and Feta Cheese drizzled with Honey Mustard dressing served with Oyster baked with Cheese & Mushroom. It was indeed a  perfect combination for a winning appetizer!

Lobster & Pumpkin Soup

A hot bowl of Boston Lobster & Creamy Pumpkin Soup! It was perfectly rich and really intense flavors of the lobster perfect for a special occasion.

Trios of Pies

The pie crusts were light, flaky tender and very crisp. It also has a glorious butter flavor and hearty pie fillings of seafood, beef and chicken. My favorite has to be the chicken as it was creamy and my sort of comfort dish!😄

Moving on to the Live Action stations & Mini Buffet, the show-stopping centerpiece this year are the three types of Roasted Turkey.

From left to right we’ve got Grinch a midori liqueur-based cocktail, Jingle Jungle strawberry syrup with mint and soda, Blizzard blue curacao, lemon, asam boi topped with Sprite and lastly Starlight consist of only rum and pineapple.

Ended our feast with a heartwarming cup of Hot Chocolate with Mini Gingerbread House that is infused with flavors of the season.
